well i think that having a good camera doesnt make you a great photographer, i've always had such high respect for artist who start out with camera phones or such, because its where i started.
catching a sensational shot can happen anywhere, anything. thats the trick in art. everything IS art. my best advice varies from the style of art your looking to do, are ypu more of a photographer than anything? or a writer?
I like the idea you have here. Very cool. The beans and cup of caffe is great. The dude... eh, he works, but kinda doesn't flow as well with the pic as I would have liked it.
There's a certain air of smokey bar'ism, but his dress belies the thoughts I would imagine someone being in a coffee house that seems that authentic and organic would be wearing (thusly, probably my problem. ) All this extra thinking is probably what's making me look twice at the pic, and that's a good thing.
It rained on Friday and I didn't mind it TOO much, but it was that bitterly cold, VERY windy (like, 25mph) rain which wasn't as lovely as a Summer rain or Spring... But I still walked in it without the umbrella for a while just to remind myself I was still alive.
